Synopsis: A history of the Earth and Humanity, from the Big Bang to the 20th century, the series ends with a projection into the future. From the first signs of humanity, the story becomes that of a family, whose members are everyday people with ordinary lives. They traverse history from episode to episode. Three episodes deal with prehistory, the next themes are the Fertile Valleys, the first empires, Greece and Rome, then 18 episodes deal with contemporary history and the future.
